About Liposomal Technology

Liposomal technology has an internal structure consisting of water and water-soluble active ingredients and consists of a phospholipid bilayer membrane, which increases nutrient persistence and absorption rate.

Key Technology Features

Molecular Sculpting of Flexible Nano Spheres (FS):

  • High-energy mechanical forces sculpt phospholipid complexes into flexible nanospheres.

  • Particle size reduction improves stability and dispersibility.

  • FS offer membrane fluidity, critical for liposomal stability in varying biological environments (pH, ionic strength).

  • Enhances the encapsulation of both hydrophilic and hydrophobic molecules.

Flexibility Benefits:

  • Easier functionalization with targeting ligands (antibodies, peptides).

  • Maintains stability and controlled release properties.

Uniqueness vs. Conventional Liposomes:

  • Smaller and uniform particle size (~189 nm vs. 335 nm for Lypo-C).

  • Higher zeta potential (-31.37 mV vs. -19.2 mV), indicating stronger electrostatic stabilization and reduced aggregation.

  • Spherical, smooth particles without aggregation (confirmed by SEM & TEM).

Scientific Validation

Characterization Methods:

  • Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM)

  • Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM)

  • Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS)

  • Zeta Potential (ZP)

Stability:

  • Heat-stable up to 100°C.

Permeation & Bioavailability Studies:

  • CaCo2 cell line permeation studies: 2.8x to 3.5x enhanced permeability across various nutrients (CoQ10, Vitamin D3, Zinc Bisglycinate, Iron Bisglycinate).

  • Human bioavailability studies:

    • Vitamin C absorption was 7.62 times higher and 6.29 times faster than conventional Vitamin C.
